Before going to the middle of the runway, there was an oppurtunity to see the participating jets on the flightline. These inclued Tornados from the UK and Italy, French Super Etendards and Mirage F.1's, German Phantoms, Italian AMX and F-15C's, F-15E's and A-10's from the United States.
While moving from the flightline to the runway there were 4 Dutch Apaches leaving to play their roll during the TLP mission.
Once positionned in the middle of the runway there was a pair of local Vipers returning before the TLP mission launched. After some very nice take-offs it was time to leave the base so I went to the eastern spotterscorner for some taxi shots instead of the western spot were you can see them land. And I was lucky because the last participants, the two A-10's, make each one touch and go. And the point of pull up and turn was just were I was. This was a very nice bonus to end the year.
