Along with some civilian acts, taking part in spectacular displays that evening was the USAF F-15 East Coast Demonstration Team together with Dale Snodgrass in his F-86 Sabre for the USAF Heritage Flight flypast.
The US Navy provided a solo demonstration by the F/A-18C Hornet and some high speed passes with full afterburner by a F/A-18F Super Hornet by night. Fat Albert, the Blue Angels KC-130T support aircraft, provided a night time Jet Assisted Take Off (JATO). We also had 3 Hornets returning from a local mission with one having a guided landing because of some gear warnings.
The final act was a race between Shockwave, a truck equipped with three Pratt & Whitney J34-48 jet engines, and Bill Leff, flying the T-6. Offcourse the winner wasn't important as the finish flag was a giant Wall of Fire. The show was closed with a huge fireworks display .
