In the afternoon we had a mission involving some local Vipers and the Czech L-159A's. While they were gone doing there mission we still had a lot of action in the form of a Belgian Fouga Magister and a Marchetti, but we also had two French Jaguars A making some missed approaches. These Jaguars were also going to be retired in 2005. After the jets were back from there mission it was time to say goodby to the visitors but they all did it in style. The Phantom made some spirited fly past while the Mirage IVP made a fly by together with the Vipers and L-159A's. Only the Fishbed took off and never came back. But the rumbling from the afterburner was a sound never to forget. At the end of the day we even had a C-17A from the USAF making a landing at Keebee.
This afternoon photo call was a very wel organised and they promised us that the spottersday for the COMAO excercise would be even better. I was looking forward to that one.
